- Single tooth anterior and posterior
- Full-arch case
- Designing a surgical guide
- Printing surgical guides
- Digitally planning and constructing single implant provisional crowns
- Hands-on practice on guided implant surgical placement and restoration
COURSE OVERVIEW
Day 1 AM
- Implant planning basics
- ITI principles
- 3D planning theory
Planning for:
- Single anterior 4-4 coverage (To be printed in the PM)
- Single anterior maximum coverage with bar
- Single posterior maximum coverage with bar
Day 1 PM
- Using Netfabb to send guide designs to the printer
- Adjusting supports
- Guidance, tips and tricks for printing
- Placing the implant in-model using the printed guide and a guided Straumann kit
Day 2 AM
- IO scanning in Trios
- Scan flags
- Analogue customised impression techniques
- 2 stations – Group 1 covers IO scanning, group 2 covers customised impression copings and implant impressions
- Designing implant provisionals using Trios
- Printing for the PM session
Day 2 PM
- Using printed provisional and cementing to provide abutment
- Ensuring the correct emergence profile and adjusting accordingly
- Using analogue techniques to produce provisional implant crowns

I graduated from the Leeds Dental Institute in 2016 and immediately immersed myself in the practical applications of dentistry in a number of practices across Surrey and South West London. I furthered my knowledge with a postgraduate diploma in primary dental care at the University of Kent, graduating with a distinction, and recently completed my doctorate at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Co-founding YDS was the logical next step in my dental career, giving me the opportunity to share my knowledge with the next cohort of young dentists.

For cancellations of bookings within 6 weeks of the course start date and failure to attend a course on the day no refund will be provided. In the event that YDS cancels a course due to unforeseen circumstances, the course will be rescheduled promptly and you will be notified as such. It it to note YDS cannot be liable for any additional costs associated with this. Please note that all refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during registration. After graduating with BDS Honours from the University of Manchester in 2014, receiving the prestigious Charles H Preston prize medal in the process, I expanded my practical skills with a range of tenures at dental practices and hospitals across the country. This included serving as an Oral and Maxillofacial Senior House Officer for Northampton General Hospital, before pursuing a 4-year specialist program in prosthodontics at King’s College London.
Now it is my pleasure to play a role in educating and mentoring the new generation of young dentists.
